As we gear up for 2022’s ADC-ICC Asia-Pacific Commercial Mediation Competition (APCMC), we are thrilled to see APCMC 2021 teams do so well in the recent 17th International Commercial Mediation Competition, online from Paris. Not for the first time has the University of Auckland taken home the title of reigning champion from Paris. Congratulations Auckland! It is another brilliant achievement from a stellar team.

ADC congratulates Paris grand finalist, the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and semi-finalist teams, the University of New South Wales and Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. The University of New Wales is another consistently high performer at the Asia-Pacific and Paris competitions. Congratulations also to our 2021 winning team; the West Bengal University of Juridical Sciences who were awarded ‘Distinction as Public Speaker’ in Paris.  Well done to all teams on your tremendous efforts!

We also recognise the tremendous skill and efforts of the teams’ coaches. Consistent success does not happen without their expertise in guiding new teams of students each year. Thank you for your continued support.

The ADC-ICC APCMC is closely associated with the ICC Mediation Competition in Paris. By competing in APCMC 2022, Universities have the chance to secure a reserved place to compete in the 18th Annual ICC Mediation Competition in 2023. We encourage Universities and students to start preparing. APCMC 2022 registrations are about to open. It is a lot of fun, a lot of learning and lot of kudos for honing your mediation and negotiation skills. Ditto for our wonderful volunteers. Please get in contact to let us know that you are available in 2022. Full details for the APCMC are on our website HERE.
