This course is designed for those wishing to become mediators, who are involved in or organise mediation processes, or who seek a greater understanding of the skills involved in mediation.

Participants wishing to become ADC Accredited mediators and apply for recognition under the Australian National Mediator Accreditation System need to undertake the additional Accreditation Day. [You will need to make a separate registration for the additional Accreditation Day.]

About the ADC Mediation Course

ADC’s Mediation Training Course provides you with the essential skills and knowledge to become a practising mediator or use subsets of these skills in a wide range of legal, business and everyday contexts.

The first two days of interactive learning focus on the theoretical component; explaining both the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of the mediation process. This knowledge is integrated in the following three day practical program, enabling you to develop and practise your mediation skills with experienced trainers and coaches offering direct feedback throughout. Importantly, the ADC mediation training course offers you role-play scenarios that relate to your area/s of interest.

To ensure that we are providing the best possible training, ADC provides you with two qualified and highly experienced mediator trainers throughout the course together with specialist coaches on days 3,4, & 5.

ADC’s Mediation Training Course is an intensive, 40 hour programme, designed to maximise learning by immersing you in a challenging, rewarding and exciting mediation learning environment. It is conducted over 5 days, 8:30am – 5:00pm. On one evening during the course, we invite guest speakers to discuss specific topics with you and this is followed by a further networking opportunity over drinks.

Throughout the course ADC offers you complimentary lunch, morning and afternoon teas. Coffee, quality teas and filtered water are also available during the day.
