Room Hire Booking Terms & Conditions*

ROOM BOOKINGS

Standard Hours:

  • Standard room hire hours are from: 9:00am – 5:00pm weekdays.
  • Half-day hire is available from: 9:00am – 1:00pm or 1:00pm – 5:00pm.

After-Hours:

  • Hourly rates for room hire after 5:00pm are $250 (incl. GST) an hour or part thereof.
  • 24 x 7 access and weekend bookings can be arranged on request.

Room-Hire Payment:

  • All room hire fees are payable at time of reservation.
  • No room bookings are confirmed without payment in full of the room hire fee.
  • The party booking the room is responsible for the room hire fees and all additional costs incurred.

Cancellation fees apply to room hire bookings:

Bookings of 3 days or less

15 days or more prior to booking 10% of hire fee
14 days prior to booking: 40% of hire fee
7 days or less prior to booking: Full hire fee

Bookings of 4 days or more

61 days or more prior to booking: 10% of hire fee
60 days prior to booking: 40% of hire fee
21 days or less prior to booking: Full hire fee

COVID-19

At the start of the pandemic ADC introduced a specialist mediation Online Dispute Resolution platform, ADC Virtual, to offer certainty to parties that their mediation can progress in a timely and cost-efficient manner. If for any reason some or all of the parties are unable to attend rooms booked at ADC Sydney, due to COVID-19 restrictions or personal quarantine, ADC can concierge those parties on to ADC Virtual, at no additional cost. Thus, the mediation may be a hybrid (physical/online), or fully online.

For parties not wishing to use ADC Virtual, Zoom Professional or another platform of their preference as agreed, ADC’s standard cancellation fees apply.

In the specific circumstance of the NSW Government mandating a full ‘City of Sydney LGA’ lockdown (i.e. ADC cannot open its doors to the public), ADC will work with the parties to arrange a later booking date (at no additional cost). If the parties do not wish to reschedule their current booking at ADC, or ADC does not have room capacity for the parties’ agreed dates, ADC will arrange the booking cancellation with a small fee to cover the administrative costs of the initial booking and its cancellation ($200 plus GST) to be charged.

Complimentary Services

  • Wifi: for clients’ use and IP video conferencing, (clients bring own laptops/iPads etc.).
  • Photocopying and printing: up to 20 black & white pages per booking day.
  • Refreshments: Espresso coffee, teas, filtered water and snacks.
  • Standard whiteboards.
  • Electronic whiteboard: available on request.
  • Video presentation display: available on request.
  • Microphone: available on request.

OTHER SERVICES

ADC can assist you with arrangements for the following services when additional charges apply:

  • Video Conferencing: national, international and multi-party.
  • Photocopying and printing: over first 20 pages – $0.20 a page, black & white; $0.50 a page, colour.
  • Transcription services: ADC can assist you with suggested service providers.
  • Catering: ADC can assist you with suggested service providers.
