Session Supervisor Reflections on the APCMC 2021

  Supervising mediation sessions for the 2021 ADC-ICC Asia-Pacific Commercial Mediation Competition was an incredibly rewarding experience. It provided a rare opportunity to witness contestants from across the world come together to find creative solutions to difficult problems. APCMC 2021 Official Opening a Massive Success!

To launch the ADC-ICC Asia Pacific Commercial Mediation Competition on Friday 10 September 2021, over 100 students, volunteers and dignitaries gathered online for the 'Official Opening'. ADC's CEO Deborah Lockhart was joined by Bryan Clarke, CEO of the International Chamber of Commerce, Australia in welcoming all APCMC participants, volunteers and special guests. Vale Ken Hinds

The Australian Disputes Centre is deeply saddened at the passing of friend and colleague Ken Hinds, who passed away peacefully on 3rd September 2018, aged 74. Ken was a highly respected engineer, project manager, forensic expert, mediator, adjudicator, arbitrator and an art collector extraordinaire. Speaking at Ken’s funeral service in Caloundra on 10 September 2018, ADC’s Director, Professor Doug Jones, described Ken as ‘’a true renaissance man’’.
