CONTENTS: Word from the CEO Online venue Online training Online Notification of Disputes Dates for Your Diary Word from the CEO A week is not just a long time in politics! Week by week, if not day by day we are all traversing a new reality. I very much hope that this small communication finds you safe and well!
ADC’s was established 34 years ago to facilitate timely, affordable and private dispute resolution. Our work has since become a cornerstone of access to justice in Australia and increasingly important in the region.
ADC prides itself on offering prestigious ADR rooms, gold-standard training and CPD programmes, and highly proficient case management services. Yet, ADC’s prestige and gravitas is not mired in the dust of decades. ADC also stands for innovation and agility.
I am thrilled to announce that ADC has – in 7 short days – developed all new online platforms and programmes for its services. ADC is wired. We are excited, and we are here to connect with you.
ADC Virtual, powered by Modron, has been developed over several years to be the best Online Dispute Resolution Platform available. If you are unable to meet face-to-face, ADC Virtual is your next best option.
Modron is not only supporting ADC, they have also stepped in to support and sponsor the very exciting ADC-ICC Asia Pacific Mediation Competition later in 2020. This competition is a new initiative for ADC, and we will keep you up to date on how you can get involved.
ADC Connected - ADC’s Accelerator Mediation Training & Accreditation Programme - brings you our prestigious mediation training in a state-of-the-art multimedia programme. If you have been putting off completing your training, and are at home wanting to connect with like-minded professionals, this is a terrific opportunity. ADC’s first Accelerator mediation course starts on 1 April 2020. ADC’s Commercial Mediation Masterclass – ‘Mediating in the Headlights of Litigation and Arbitration’ has you connected on ADC Virtual on 25 March 2020. If you are needing CPD points, or are simply wanting to grab a great opportunity to connect with many of Australia’s top dispute resolution specialists (all at home!), please contact ADC immediately.
And there is more... ADC has also launched an online platform for Notification of Disputes. If ADC is named in your contract, or you are requesting ADC to make an ad hoc appointment of an ADR practitioner, then this is your new convenient option.
ADC has been working for many weeks on ensuring that it is doing all it can to meet COVID-19 health requirements.
Our Precautionary Protocol is on the website and it is being updated regularly. ADC’s team started working from home last week. We have retained a core team at the Centre to support current bookings in our large rooms. When this is no longer an option for any of us, we will update the website to let you know. You can always contact the team on the same phone number and email addresses.
Thank you for your ongoing support and please stay safe!
