CONTENTS: Word from the CEO Thought Leadership Spotlight Legal Updates Seasons greetings! It's that time of year, and the team at ADC is looking forward to the festive season and the annual summer break. It has been another momentous year for ADC, and throughout 2018, the ADC team has been working hard to deliver on its mission to advance ADR in Australia and to enhance Australia’s reputation as a regional centre for international commercial arbitration. For the asylum seekers who remain on Nauru and Manus Island, a veritable choir is needed to help make a difference in their lives. In solidarity against their plight, our voices of concern and our practical contributions can make a difference this summer. ADC’s generous interns have suggested some contact points (in the Bulletin below) and I invite you to join me in demonstrating our common compassion by clicking on the links and contributing in a way that resonates with you. Together, we can bring the voice of an ADR choir in advocacy for humane action.
