Over the past few days I have been receiving many messages of congratulations for my four-year anniversary at the Australian Disputes Centre. Thank you to all well-wishes and to everyone who has supported the Centre during my past four years and the many years prior.
The dispute resolution industry has come a long way over 30 years and it remains my great privilege to lead an organisation that has been at the forefront of that development.
Empowering people to resolve their disputes privately is today an ever expanding, exciting and rewarding industry and one for which I am proud to advocate.
To celebrate another great year, I cordially invite you to join the ADC team for our final event for 2017. The Centre is hosting an international arbitration during the last few weeks of the year, so we will be celebrating along Bligh St at Clayton Utz. ADC’s Director and eminent ADR practitioner Prof Doug Jones AO RFD will speak on the slippery matter of confidentiality.
I very much look forward to seeing you there and sharing a glass of champagne.

His Excellency gave an overview of the Court, current and pending cases and prospects for the future.
